IPOH: Perak Pakatan Harapan leaders are not pledging support towards any candidate for the Mentri Besar post, says Datuk Asmuni Awi.

The Perak Parti Amanah Negara chairman said this after they were summoned to meet Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah on Tuesday (Dec 8).

When asked if they are supporting Perak Umno chairman Saarani Mohamad, all three leaders, including DAP's Nga Kor Ming and PKR's Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, kept mum.

"We are just here to update the Sultan," said Farhash to the media after the meeting.

After an hour of meeting Sultan Nazrin, Nga said they are only hoping for the best.

Pangkor assemblyman and former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir is currently meeting with His Royal Highness after he was summoned to Istana Kinta.
