Former Perak MB not seeking an audience with Sultan Nazrin, says source


IPOH: Former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu will not be seeking an audience with Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah.

According to a source, Ahmad Faizal is currently in Kuala Lumpur.

"He will not be going to Istana Kinta, since he is still in Kuala Lumpur," said the source on Tuesday (Dec 8).

Earlier, there Pakatan Harapan leaders - Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming, state Parti Amanah Negara chairman Datuk Asmuni Awi and Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak - were summoned for a meeting with Sultan Nazrin.

According to Farhash, the meeting was about updating the current situation to His Royal Highness.

"Everything is still fluid," he said.
