KUALA LUMPUR: Police have so far recorded the statements of 21 witnesses to assist with ongoing investigations into a helicopter crash at Taman Melawati on Sunday (Nov 8).
"On Monday (Nov 9), a forensics team from Bukit Aman went to the Subang Airport hangar to further inspect the wreckage.
"We urge all with information on the incident to present themselves to the Ampang Jaya police headquarters to assist investigations," said Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 11).
The case has been classified as sudden death.
On Sunday, Mohamed Sabri Baharon and Mohd Irfan Fikri Mohamed Rawi were killed when the helicopter they were in crashed after a mid-air collision with another helicopter near Taman Melawati.
The other helicopter managed to land on a school field nearby.
The second helicopter carried former Malaysia Airlines Bhd group chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, 66, and Tan Chai Eian, 51.
