IPOH:The Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) assistance package is timely for those who are in dire need of help, say non-governmental organisations here.

Ipoh City Watch (ICW) president Dr Richard Ng said although the assistance is one-off, it would still help lighten the burden of those who have lost jobs, besides senior citizens and the B40 group.
