KUALA LUMPUR: The first day of the Parliament session began with a moment of silence in honour of former Batu Sapi MP Datuk Liew Vui Keong, who died on Oct 2 due to complications from a lung infection.
Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Seri Azhar Azizan Harun said Liew’s contributions to legal reforms and human rights issues as an MP and a de facto law minister will always be remembered.
