PETALING JAYA: Dimsum Entertainment has expanded its news offering to include global news as the video-on-demand service partners with international news agencies Al Jazeera and Channel News Asia (CNA).
The newly-minted content partners will keep Dimsum Entertainment users abreast of the latest international news, carrying live streams of breaking news besides commentary pieces and documentaries.
Al Jazeera and CNA’s news content can be viewed for free on Dimsum Entertainment since its launch on Oct 14.
For techies, the video-on-demand service has also teamed up with Singapore’s tech-centric content provider TechStorm to bring Storm Bytes, a mini-series focused on the ever evolving tech world.
Topics range from e-sports to the latest gadgets.
Besides Al Jazeera, CNA and TechStorm, Dimsum Entertainment’s news channel also features sources from TheStarTV and R.AGE for local news and current affairs, and CCTV4 for news in and out of China.
For entertainment news, users can tune in to E-News Headlines, i-CABLE, NewShowBiz and mStar.
