Istana Negara: Anwar only gave number, not names


PETALING JAYA: Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim only presented the number, but not the names of MPs who he claimed supported him as the next prime minister, said the Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin.

“Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah had an audience with Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Istana Negara at 11am on Oct 13,” said Ahmad Fadil in a statement yesterday.
