Selangor govt surprised over implementation of conditional MCO in the state


KLANG: The announcement by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob that the whole of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be placed under the conditional movement control order (MCO) has come as a surprise to the Selangor state government.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said in a statement on Monday (Oct 12) that only Klang, Gombak, Hulu Langat and parts of Petaling had indicated a worrisome number of cases.
