New prisoners, detainees to be screened and isolated, says Ismail Sabri

PETALING JAYA: New prisoners and those under remand would be screened for Covid-19 and kept in isolation for 15 days to control the sudden surge of cases in prison settings, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister (Security) said even after testing negative on Day 13, the new prisoners would be kept isolated for another five days after the end of the 15-day quarantine period.
