Cops fine twenty-six people in Kota Tinggi for not wearing face masks


KOTA TINGGI: The police here have fined 26 people RM1,000 for flouting the mandatory face mask directive on the first day of its enforcement.

Kota Tinggi OCPD Supt Hussin Zamora said the district’s task force handed out compounds to 26 people for failing to wear their face masks while enjoying their leisure time at the Batu Layar beach in Bayu Damai here between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday (Aug 1).
