KUALA LUMPUR: The government will review the implementation of the early redemption of accumulated leave under the "Cash Award in Lieu of Leave (GCR)", as announced under Budget 2020.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said that a review is needed as the redemption of accumulated leave for GCR for those who are still in service will not be beneficial to the civil servants.
