PUTRAJAYA: An ex-aide to a former minister is said to have demanded RM5mil from a company as kickbacks for awarding a contract worth more than RM50mil to supply highly sensitive security equipment, according to graft investigators.
Parti Amanah Negara has issued a statement, identifying the aide as Mohd Azhar Che Mat Dali, the former political secretary to Mohamad Sabu when he was the defence minister under the previous government.
