Food traders must wear face masks if condition stipulated by local authorities, says Ismail Sabri

PUTRAJAYA: Food traders, especially those at pasar malam, morning and farmers markets must wear face masks if that is the condition stipulated by the local authorities that permits them to do business, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said while the mandatory use of face masks is not stipulated under Act 342 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act, it could be made as a requirement by the local authorities.
