A factory worker fell into a coma after crashing his motorcycle into a wild boar in Kampung Brisu, Alor Gajah, Melaka, reported Metro Ahad.Zulkarnain Mokhtar, 32, suffered injuries to his spine and fractured his ribs during the 7am incident on Saturday.
A friend, who was riding pillion, said the wild animal had suddenly appeared on the road and Zulkarnain could not stop in time.
The collision threw him to the side of the road and his motorcycle was dragged several metres by the frantic boar.
Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu confirmed the incident.

During the incident in Putra Harmoni Apartment on Saturday, the cat was seen meowing loudly while it desperately clung to the edge of the pipe on the 10th floor.
The civil defence spokesman said the cat’s location made the rescue operation difficult and challenging.
“We could see the cat from a balcony but it was too far for us to reach.
“Eventually, we decided to save the cat through the window of a nearby unit, ” he said.

Faruq Fadhullah Kamal Baharom, 32, said he wanted to ensure that he had enough income.
“My flight schedule and income are affected by 90%, ” he said, adding that on the bright side, he got to use his motorcycle more often.
He said he was not ashamed of being a delivery rider as he had previously worked as a cleaner.
“Our responsibility is more important than what others think of us, ” he said, adding that his wife, family and friends were supportive of his part-time work.
He said so far, no one had teased him yet while he was on duty.
