Lee wants drivers high on drugs to be punished too


PETALING JAYA: Besides drink-driving, stiffer penalties should also be imposed on those found to be under the influence of other intoxicating substances while behind the wheel, irrespective whether an accident happens or not, says Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) senior vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (pic).

He said MCPF supported the government’s move to take stern and drastic action following the recent fatal accident cases involving drink-driving.
