Pub owner and patrons fined RM1,000 each


IPOH: A night of drinking and socialising at a pub during the conditional movement control order (MCO) landed 29 people in court here.Also charged with violating the conditional MCO was the 35-year-old pub owner. They were accused of committing the offences at the pub along Jalan Lau Ek Ching on May 26, at about 9.30pm.

All, including three women, aged between 19 to 36, pleaded guilty to the offences before magistrate Umzarul An Nur Umar yesterday.
