JOHOR BARU: Teachers, pensioners and senior citizens have been the latest target by phone scam syndicates, with 250 reported cases involving losses close to RM11mil in the state.
State police commercial crime investigations department chief Asst Comm Mohd Salleh Abdullah said 93 cases (37% of the victims) were recorded from January until May 27 this year.
