PUTRAJAYA: The shooting of films, dramas and advertisements during the conditional movement control order (CMCO) period will be allowed after Hari Raya, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said the green light for filming activities would start after Aidilfitri and production companies had to adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP) as stipulated by the National Security Council and the Health Ministry.

“Among the SOP is to hold meetings and casting online as well as the submission of travel records for all production team members and artistes four weeks before shooting begins and to ensure not more than 20 people are involved in each filming session. The production company is also required to appoint a safety supervisor.

“Buffet meals for workers and artistes are not allowed and food should be served in individual packs, ” he said here yesterday.

Ismail Sabri said make-up artists should wear face shield and wash their hands before starting work.

He said the recording of live performances with a studio audience was still not allowed. — Bernama
