New cluster detected in Setia Alam


PETALING JAYA: A new cluster of Covid-19 cases has emerged at a construction site in Setia Alam involving 12 foreign workers, says the Health Ministry.Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the cluster was first detected on Wednesday when a notification was received from a private hospital.

He said the hospital conducted health screening on five Bangladeshi workers, who were supposed to return to work at the site. Three of them tested positive for Covid-19.
