Speaker confirms receiving letter appointing Anwar as Opposition leader

PETALING JAYA: Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Mohd Ariff Md Yusof confirms that he has received a letter appointing Anwar Ibrahim as the new Opposition chief.

"Yes, I have received Pakatan Harapan's letter," Ariff said when contacted Thursday (May 7).
