S'gor crimes down likely due to MCO, says state cops


SHAH ALAM: The crime index in Selangor has dipped by about 18% in the first four months of 2020, compared with the same period last year, says Selangor police.

Selangor police Covid-19 special spokesman Asst Comm Muhamad Yazid Muhammad Yew said state police recorded 4,675 cases between Jan 1 and Apr 19 this year, compared with 5,723 in the same period last year.
