KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) is taking the necessary measures to keep its power system running, as Sarawakians stay home under the movement control order (MCO).
Its group chief executive Datuk Sharbini Suhaili said Tuesday (March 24) that SEB had activated its business continuity plan to ensure that day-to-day operations carried on as seamlessly as possible with minimal impact to customers.
"We have taken steps to divide the team whereby critical function personnel continue to operate while adhering strictly to health advisories.
"The other teams are providing support and carrying out their responsibility either remotely or at alternative locations," he said in a statement Tuesday.
Sharbini advised customers to pay their bills through the SEB Cares mobile app, online banking or e-wallets.
He said customers could also view their bills, report technical issues or make enquiries via SEB Cares.
"Customers may contact our 24-hour customer care centre at 1-300-88-3111 should they have any queries. Stay home, stay connected," he added.
