GEORGE TOWN: Several eateries and hypermarkets have placed markers on the floor to remind customers of the need to maintain a separation of at least a metre from the next person in the queue as part of efforts to facilitate social distancing.

At a local burger shop here, the chairs are placed at a distance of arm’s length for those waiting to take away their food.
