Perak MB to meet Perak Sultan for the second time

KUALA KANGSAR: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has been summoned for an audience with Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah at Istana Iskandariah on Tuesday (March 3).

This would be the second time Faizal will be meeting with Sultan Nazrin following the political situation in the state.

However, Faizal said he did not know the purpose of the meeting.

"I was called alone. Wallahualaam (Only God knows)," he said in a hurry to the reporters after attending the National Landscape Day at Laman Budaya here (March 3).

Faizal, who is Tambun MP and Chenderiang assemblyman, was seen leaving Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's house in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (March 1).

It was reported earlier that several Pakatan Harapan state exco members are bracing for the possibility of the state coalition losing its hold on Perak.

Faizal said he will be meeting the media soon.

"Be careful. I will meet all of you (media) soon. Sorry," he said before leaving for the palace in his car.
