Penang CM: State govt in no hurry to hold by-elections for Bersatu state seats


GEORGE TOWN: Penang is not in a hurry to hold by-elections for the two state constituencies currently held by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) representatives, said Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

The state government, he said, preferred the current political impasse at the federal level to be sorted out first before any decision can be made on those two seats.
