Placement of neurosurgeons in Miri Hospital saved 85 lives last year, says Miri MP

MIRI: Eighty-five lives have been saved last year after the Health Ministry deployed neurosurgeons to Miri Hospital on a rotational basis, says Dr Michael Teo.

The Miri MP said that the 85 were able to undergo emergency brain surgeries at the hospital instead of having to travel long distances to Kuching or Brunei.
