Sprinter Mohd Haiqal wins 100m gold

MANILA: National sprinter Mohd Haiqal Hanafi has won gold in the men's 100m final at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium here.

Haiqal finished with a time of 10.35 seconds to come in first ahead of Thailand's Sowan Ruttanapon and Bandit Chuangchai who clocked at 10.49 and 10.52 respectively.
