KOTA KINABALU: The bill to amend Sabah's State Constitution to allow lowering the minimum age of elected and nominated assemblymen to 18 years old from 21 has been passed at the state legislative assembly sitting on Thursday (Nov 21).
Sabah is the first state in the country to do so in line with the federal move of lowering the age of representatives.
