Lee Lam Thye urges govt to silence hate speech

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) has urged the government to use any means necessary to prevent hate speech.

Its senior vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the concern expressed by Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah over hate speech on race and religion as reported by the Star on Monday (Nov 18) is justified and not without basis.
