Unofficial results show big win for BN in Tg Piai by-election: LiveBlog


With 112 of 128 vote boxes counted, unofficial results at 8.01pm from the tallying centre in Pontian show Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng in the lead by a majority of 13,383 votes.

Wee had garnered 22,254 votes against his closest rival, Pakatan Harapan’s Karmain Sardini who only managed to claim 8,871 votes.
