More than 700,000 Tabung Haji accounts inactive

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): More than 700,000 Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) accounts totalling RM60.4mil in deposits were found to have made no transactions for more than seven consecutive years from 2012 until the end of August this year.

In a statement Monday (Oct 7), TH advised the depositors involved to activate their respective accounts by making at least one deposit or withdrawal transaction at any TH branch, uniteller counter, or conduct online transactions with any of TH's strategic partners, namely Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Maybank and CIMB nationwide.
