Former schoolmates turn 60 in Peranakan style

GEORGE TOWN: Donning colourful kebaya dresses and beaded shoes, 20 women celebrated their 60th “Tua Seh Jit” (big birthday) at the Pinang Peranakan Mansion in Church Street here.

Besides celebrating their “Tua Seh Jit” bash, the women, all of whom were former schoolmates from St George’s Girls’ School, were also having their reunion.
