Najib spent RM3.3mil on gift for wife of Qatar's ex-premier, court told

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court heard that Datuk Seri Najib Razak spent about RM3.3mil at a Swiss luxury jeweller boutique, De Grisogono, in Italy to buy a gift meant for the wife of Qatar's former prime minister.

Investigating officer Rosli Husain, 54, said the former prime minister admitted to this when he gave a statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
