KOTA BARU: The Kota Baru High Court has dismissed the state government’s application to strike out a suit filed by the Federal Government in January pertaining to customary land of the Temiar Orang Asli in Pos Simpor, Gua Musang.
Judicial Commissioner Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh said in his judgment yesterday that the state government had no right to block the originating summons because it could affect the Orang Asli community in the area.
