KUALA LUMPUR: Supporters of Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak can be seen gathering in front of Dang Wangi police district headquarters in light of his impending release.
They were seen carrying banners and shouting "Free Farhash".
As of 3.30pm Tuesday (July23), Farhash, who is Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary, and former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz are still believed to be at the police station.
So far, 11 people have been detained over the case to date, with five subsequently released after their remand expired on Thursday (July 18).
Haziq had confessed publicly that he was one of the two men in the video and alleged that the other person was Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Last week, Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador said CyberSecurity Malaysia determined that the video was likely authentic but could not identify those in the sex video through facial recognition software.
