We will respect PAC recommendations on GST, says Lim

PETALING JAYA: The Finance Ministry will ensure that there is no repeat of what happened with the GST refunds during the Barisan Nasional government's tenure, says Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Lim said that government will respect the two principal recommendations in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report to ensure that the legal contraventions and financial non-compliance – where monies meant for GST refunds were used for other government expenditures – will never happen again.
