PETALING JAYA: PKR has urged people to stop circulating the viral gay sex videos of two men, including one who resembles a minister from the party.

"PKR urges for the video that has gone viral and have been talked about by the people to stop immediately.

"The political style and method like this does not bring any benefit to the people and the country," PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (pic) said in a statement on Wednesday (June 12).

Video clips and several lewd photos of the two men appearing to be engaging in sexual acts have gone viral on WhatsApp.

Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz, 27, has since confessed to be the person in the video with the minister. He also added that the minister should be probed for corruption.

Saifuddin said the party was firm and consistent in rejecting any dirty political game, especially when Pakatan Harapan had been chosen by the people on the spirit of the reform agenda to help Malaysians and to develop the nation.

"PKR, as part of the Pakatan Harapan component party, will continue to focus and help the federal government to formulate policies and programmes for the people," he said.
