No point responding to Najib, don't waste time, Guan Eng tells DAP leaders

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng says the government's fiscal consolidation is on track as it targets to reduce the deficit from 3.7% of GDP in 2018 to below 3% by 2021.

PETALING JAYA: DAP leaders have been told not to engage with former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak as this would supposedly give him the opportunity to distract global attention from his corruption trial.

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng claimed that he has received many requests from party leaders to respond to Najib’s claims, including those about the proposed Penang undersea tunnel.
