PETALING JAYA: Monarchs in a constitutional monarchy need to stay out of politics to maintain the country’s stability, say experts.

“I’ll put it in very blunt terms: if royals participate in politics, the system of parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy will be destroyed,” said political scientist Dr Chandra Muzaffar.
