Foreigners die from suspected methanol poisoning


IPOH: Two men, a Bangladeshi and a Myanmar national, have died at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital of suspected methanol poisoning.

Both victims were admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit on April 28 after suffering from blurred vision, nausea, vomiting and stomachache after consuming alcoholic drinks, said Perak Health director Datuk Dr Ding Lay Ming.
