No rest for ministers on Labour Day, as Dr M hands out assignment


SINGAPORE (Bernama): May 1 is marked down as International Labour Day throughout the world to celebrate the working class, and it is an annual public holiday in many countries, including Malaysia.

However, it will not be a "rest day" for Cabinet ministers on Wednesday (May 1), as each of them have been tasked by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to prepare a paper on issues related to their respective ministries.
