Inflation mainly driven by additional pressure from the switch to targeted fuel subsidies, continued spillover effects from the reintroduction of the Sales and Service Tax and low-base effects during the three-month zero-rated Goods and Services Tax period.
PETALING JAYA: The fuel price of RON97 will increase by seven sen per litre, while RON95 and diesel prices remain the same for the week, starting Saturday (March 23).
The Finance Ministry said the price of RON97 would increase from RM2.54 per litre to RM2.61 per litre.
