A NEW law that allows the authorities to take action against news portals that purportedly allow insensitive comments to be left on their online platforms by readers is being considered, says Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo.
He said his ministry had received numerous complaints regarding inflammatory remarks on social media and news portals which touched on the sensitivities of race, religion and the royal institution.
