Police confirm missing Irishman Stephen Warde has been found


PETALING JAYA: Irishman Stephen Warde (pic), who went missing in Malaysia on Jan 1, has been found.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Shaharuddin Abdullah confirmed the news that was announced on the "Help Find Stephen Warde - in Malaysia" Facebook page.

The message - "Stephen Warde has been found safe and well in Malaysia" - was posted on the page on Thursday (Feb 28).

Details surrounding his disappearance and of him being found are still unclear.

Warde, 32, entered Malaysia as a tourist last Nov 15.

It was learnt that he was last seen at Mercu Summer Suite along Jalan Sultan Ismail.
