Adib inquest postponed for a day due to lawyer's MC

SHAH ALAM: The inquest into the death of fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim has been postponed to Friday (March 1).

Judge Rofiah Mohamad, who sits as coroner, postponed the inquest on Thursday (Feb 28) because the lawyer for the Housing and Local Government Ministry was on medical leave.

Day 12 of the inquest will continue tomorrow at the Shah Alam Sessions court.

Muhammad Adib, 24, was critically injured when he and the team from the Subang Jaya fire station responded to an emergency at the Seafield Sri Mariamman Temple where riots were happening last November.

He was taken to SJMC before being transferred to IJN for further treatment.

He died at IJN on Dec 17, at 9.41pm.
