Typhoid outbreak declared in Kudat

KUDAT: A typhoid fever outbreak has been declared in the district after five people were confirmed to have contracted the illness.

District health officer Dr Omar Kwang Kugan said the cases were confirmed by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s pathology department.
