MCA celebrates reunion dinner with leaders and party veterans

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA leaders and veterans came together to celebrate Chinese New Year at a reunion dinner hosted by the party.

The more than 300 guests at the event also included leaders from various Chinese guilds and associations in the country.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, during his speech, said he was grateful to members and supporters for being with the party through thick and thin.

Also at the dinner was MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon.

The dinner at Wisma MCA star­ted with the traditional yee sang toss, a sign of prosperity and good health for the Lunar New Year.

At the dinner was former party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

The veterans at the dinner also included former president Tan Sri Tan Koon Swan and former deputy presidents Tun Michael Chen, Tan Sri Lim Ah Lek and Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy.

Also at the dinner was Federation of Chinese Guilds in Malaysia (Hua Zong) president Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah and United Chinese School Teachers Association of Malaysia (Jiao Zong) chairman Datuk Ong Chiow Chuen.
