Maria Chin's son stabbed in botched robbery


PETALING JAYA: The son of Petaling Jaya MP Maria Chin has been stabbed in an attempted robbery.

The incident occurred around 6pm on Sunday (Jan 27), when her eldest son, aged 26, was out on a jog.

"One suspect tried to rob him and stabbed him at the right side of his stomach.

"He is currently in stable condition," said Petaling Jaya Deputy OCPD Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood Sunday night.

The robbery occurred in a park in Taman Bukit Mayang Emas here.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
