KUALA LUMPUR: Christmas celebrations can provide opportunities for Malaysians to foster better relationship, says moderation advocate Anas Zubedy (pic).
“Christmas is actually a great way for us to build relationships, to interact with each other. In Malaysia, it is not only Christians celebrating it, but also for non-Christians,” the founder of marketing and advertising agency Zubedy (M) Sdn Bhd said.
Zubedy said he believes Christmas is one of the greatest times of the year for families and friends of different races, cultures, and backgrounds to connect, understand, and interact with one another.
According to Zubedy, through celebrating each other’s festivals together, Malaysians could build better relationships with each other too.
He said this will in turn help to make Malaysia a better place.
“Malaysians should make good use of festival celebrations as they provide opportunities for us to build a better nation,” he added.
“All Malaysians should contribute towards making the nation a better place,” he said.
