Three's company: Nurul, Rafizi and Khairy lunch again

PETALING JAYA: A picture shared by Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin’s caught Instagram’s attention on Tuesday (Dec 18).

The picture showed Khairy and political rivals Nurul Izzah Anwar and Rafizi Ramli meeting for a drink in Bangsar.

The trio were seen in Alexis Bistro in Bangsar Shopping Centre, following Nurul Izzah’s shock decision to quit her party posts.

The picture, which was on the Rembau MP’s Insta story, was captioned: “That’s how filters work @rafiziramli.”

The caption is believed to be a follow-up to a previous tweet by Khairy about another picture.

The previous picture was posted by Rafizi Ramli on his Twitter account on Dec 10, when the trio also had lunch, and Rafizi captioned the picture: “Every now & then, @Khairykj @n_izzah  & I met (sic) for lunch.”

In response to the picture, Khairy said: “At our next lunch, I’m going to teach you how to use the filter function.”

On Dec 17, Nurul Izzah said thanks to Rafizi and Khairy over their show of support for her following her resignation as PKR vice-president.

She said Rafizi Ramli was the best candidate for the party deputy president, a position he lost to Datuk Seri Azmin Ali in the recent party polls.
